2020 has given us a lot of lemons, right? As we celebrate Thanksgiving, I encourage you to focus on the lemons you've turned into lemonade. I believe gratitude is a key to growing your business in the pandemic and beyond.

What does gratitude have to do with growing a business?
Gratitude gets our focus off ourselves and our negative circumstances. It reorients us to focus on our customers and our mission.
How can something as simple as being grateful keep a business afloat let alone help it thrive?
This mindset change transforms our business culture. Our employees want to come to work and with a smile. We develop loyal customers who spread the word. We do inspiring work that gets us in the news. The reporter's experience with us is so positive we hear from that reporter again.
I'm not asking you to put on rose-colored glasses and pretend everything is fine. It's not. The reality is there are a number of factors impacting our businesses that are out of our control.
However, an attitude of gratefulness can go a long way to creating a business that will rise stronger.
